Trigger Mechanism

When a mouse steps on the pedal, the latch triggers, releasing the front door. The front door then closes from the outside. The center of the pedal is positioned 8 inches from the front door, providing enough space for the entire mouse to enter without pinching its tail. The door closes from outside and falls from above, preventing any harm to the mouse.

Tips

To trigger the trap, 4g of weight is sufficient. However, if you encounter a baby mouse which is too light and moves quickly, causing a minimal pressure on the pedal, place a coin or any other object weighing less than 4g on the pedal. This will provide extra pressure to ensure the trap functions properly.
